Garry P. MacArthur, CPP, PSP, CPM

Garry is a staff consultant. He has more than 21 years of professional security experience.

Garry has extensive experience in project management, physical security management, design, implementation, and commissioning of access control, video surveillance, and related technologies.  He has many years of experience in assessing and managing risks and threats by conducting Business Impact Analyses, Business Continuity Plans, and Risk Management assessments.  Garry has overseen the design and deployment of systems in several countries remotely while keeping key technical and non-technical stakeholders informed and apprised of the progress being made. 

He has a Bachelor of Science in Intelligence and Security Studies, an Associate of Science in Criminology, a certificate in Homeland Security, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Liberty University.

Garry holds a Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation from ASIS International (Arlington, TX).  The PSP certification is for those with expertise in conducting threat surveys; designing integrated security systems that include equipment, procedures, and people; or installing, operating, and maintaining such systems.  The CPP is considered the "gold standard" certification for security management professionals and demonstrates one’s knowledge competency in seven key areas of security.  He also holds the Certified Project Manager (CPM) designation.

He is an ASIS International member and currently serves on the Tampa Bay ASIS Chapter 30 Board of Directors as Security Liaison.
